Dr. Kedy Koum is a pediatrician and neonatologist and is the Medical Director of Pediatrics in the District Hospital of Bonassama, Douala, Cameroon. Dr Kedy Koum is the mother of 3 children.

She completed her neonatology training in the Neonatology Unit of the University Hospitals of Geneva where she has developed a close collaboration with Dr. Riccardo Pfister that has led to numerous cooperative projects at the origins of the association 4earlylife. 

Dr. Kedy Koum received her certification from the Swiss Society of Neonatology for an outstanding exam result in 2008.

Dr. Kedy Koum returned to Cameroon in 2009, shortly before she was installed as the Medical Director of Pediatrics at the District Hospital of Bonassama, Douala. In 2012 she received the Prize of Excellence for her merits at the District Hospital.

Dr. Kedy Koum has just published some recent outcome results from her Pediatric Department at Bonassama in an international journal (available online). As an academic, Dr. Kedy Koum is also teaches   pediatrics and neonatology at the medical faculties of Douala and Yaounde, Cameroon.
